1000 Photo Stop-Motion Project on Pregnancy

When photographer Tomer Grencel found out his wife was pregnant, he didn’t just take a couple photos, he took 1000. Grencel’s photos cover the span of his wife’s nine-month pregnancy from the beginning until his baby is born, and adds a little humor in the process.

Grencel has added some unique touches to his stop motion video, such as the dogs pulling the baby cradle and himself “blasting-off” out of the frame. After a month of video editing, the video was uploaded to youtube where it has garnered a great deal of attention, having gained over 800,000 views in a little over four months. The pregnancy and the video also lead Grencel and his wife to start a baby blog, called babyrulez.com.
