Not all of the women in this year’s Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue are made of plastic, and yet the unique Barbie swimsuit shots we told you about a few days back will STILL play second fiddle to a much cooler photo shoot of model and actress Kate Upton… scantily clad… floating around in actual zero gravity.
Taking a look at the behind the scenes video above, you would swear this was the most fun photo shoot anyone has ever done. Four years in the making, this photo shoot required that Upton, photographer James Macari, all of his assistants and a slew of Cape Canaveral staff hop on board the Vomit Comet and snap photos while bouncing around like pinballs in zero G.

You can see the full gallery over on the SI Swimsuit 2014 website here. Truth be told, the final shots seem a bit uneven, but this shoot is more about content than quality. And given that poor Mr. Macari was literally (and through no fault of his own) bouncing off of the walls while taking these pictures, we’ll give him credit for getting the shots that he did.
